Locked in: Sami set for Storm return
The Titans will expect to welcome back Phil Sami against the Storm with the experienced flyer getting through Friday's captain's run without incident.
Confirmed in the final 19-man squad for Saturday's showdown against Melbourne at Cbus Super Stadium, the 111-gamer will hope to overcome a syndesmosis injury that has kept him sidelined since Round 4 against the Dolphins.
Also in the extended squad with full intent of returning is Keenan Palasia, who completed Friday's captain's run after a quad injury troubled the Gold Coast forward for the past six weeks.
The Titans will go into the clash with an unchanged 1-19 as they aim for back-to-back wins since coming home from New Zealand with the two points after a gutsy victory against the Warriors on Anzac Day.
Dropping from the extended squad is Jacob Alick-Wiencke, Keano Kini and Aaron Schoupp; with the trio expected to return to Hostplus Cup on Sunday.
Kick-off is at 5.30pm on Saturday at Cbus Super Stadium, Gold Coast.
